1. Prior to the user subscribing to our service, KKtalkOnline has the authority to provide a free trial class corresponding to the selected subscription type. This trial class is designed to introduce the student to the platform and evaluate their proficiency in English. The completion of the trial class becomes mandatory at the discretion of KKtalkOnline. Subsequent to the trial, KKtalkOnline may propose a class schedule based on the student’s English proficiency, and it should be noted that KKtalkOnline’s evaluation may differ from assessments conducted by third parties that the user may have previously received.
  2. To participate in the classes, the user is required to have internet access and ensure the availability of a microphone and camera on their device, which they must obtain independently and at their own cost. KKtalkOnline disclaims any responsibility for difficulties in conducting classes or any decline in quality attributable to issues with the user’s software, hardware, or internet access.
  3. During the classes, it is essential for the student to comply with the Privacy Policy. The user acknowledges that KKtalkOnline will record videos and photos during the classes. This recording is conducted to maintain the quality standards of the services provided by KKtalkOnline and to investigate any claims made by students. Moreover, it allows students the capability to review and revisit lessons for better learning.
  4. Following each class, the teacher or parents have the option to assign homework to the student, ideally to be completed on the platform before the next scheduled class.

Currency and Exchange Rate:

•All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Final charges may vary depending on the global exchange rate at the time of payment.

Package Limitation:

•Each package is intended for use by one individual student only. Sharing classes with other students is strictly prohibited.

Transfer of Classes:

If a student is unable to continue, the remaining classes are:
•Non-refundable, but
•Transferable to a friend or family member of a similar age or level.
•Requests must be made before the package expires and will be subject to an assessment of the new student and approval from KKtalk.

Discontinuation:

If a student decides to discontinue:

•A 50% refund of the remaining package is available only within 14 days from the date of purchase.

•After 14 days, unused classes are non-refundable.

Package Renewal:

•Renewal can be initiated 4 weeks before expiration or after 80% of the course has been completed.

•Any remaining classes will be added to the new package.

•FREE bonus classes are only for new students and renewals on time.

•Failure to renew on time may result in loss of free bonus classes included in the original package.

Cancellation Policy:

•Cancellation within 14 days of purchase is eligible for a 50% refund of the unused portion.

•The remaining package will be resold, and the refund will be processed after resale is completed.

Special Promo Packages:

•These are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

Punctuality and Attendance:

•Teachers cannot extend class time for late students.

•If a student is 10 minutes late, the classroom will automatically close, and the session will be counted as used.

•No-shows without at least 3 hours’ prior notice will also count as a used class.

•If the student is in the classroom but the teacher is late or absent for over 10 minutes, the student will receive one (1) free make-up class.

Course Termination:

•Enrollment will be terminated if a student’s package expires and they remain inactive (no bookings or attendance) for 60 consecutive days without prior notice.
•Classrooms are private learning spaces. Students are prohibited from sharing their access or allowing others to utilize their designated classroom.
•Any serious misconduct by either a student —including extreme disrespect during class, disruptive or uncontrollable behavior, or inappropriate actions—may result in suspension or termination of the course.

Payment Method:

All payments are via;
•WeChat Pay or AliPay for students in China and in Japan. All payment proceeds to AUB KKtalkOnline only.
•Bank transfer or via crypto payment (Ethereum (ETH), USDC or USDT).
